The Langham Auckland is the venue for the 5th GFETW, and a block of rooms has been reserved there for 5th GFETW participants. The Langham is ideally situated near the top of Queen Street (Auckland’s main street), where many of the city’s department stores, arcades, eateries and shops are situated.

Airport Transport Options


The easiest way to make your way to The Langham is via taxi or shuttle. Taxi and shuttle bus ranks are located just outside terminal building and you can either pre-book with one of the companies listed below or just turn up at the ranks where taxis and shuttles are always available.

Fares from the airport into the city are:

  • Taxis – indicative fares are between NZ$75.00 – NZ$90.00, one way and is dependent on traffic flows and time taken; and
  • Shuttles – fixed price fares of NZ$33.00 for one person plus $8 for each extra person in the same travelling group.
